About No Tip Club
Why this exists
Tipping culture has gotten extreme. Default prompts start at 25 or 30 percent. Surprise fees show up with vague names. Diners are left guessing what is fair, and workers still do not get paid enough.
No Tip Club exists to reward the restaurants that pay their people well from the start. No tip screens. No awkward math. Just fair wages built into the price. When you can find those places easily, you can support them with your wallet. That is the whole point.
How it works
Anyone can share the tipping situation at a restaurant: no tips (fair wage, nothing expected), fixed / included (a set service charge), or bad practice (hidden fees, extreme defaults). Other diners confirm tips they have seen themselves. Places with enough agreement earn a community verdict.
Tips are opinions shared by diners, not verified facts. A verdict needs at least 2 tips and a clear majority. We would rather say "not enough data" than guess.
For restaurants
Run a no-tip or service-included spot? You are exactly who we want to celebrate. If a tip about you is wrong, flag it. A human reviews every flag.
Privacy
No accounts, no tracking. We store only an anonymous, daily-rotating fingerprint to prevent ballot-stuffing. It cannot be linked back to you across days. Your approximate location is guessed from your IP once per visit to center the map. It is never stored.
